Dr. Alan R. Positive I was fortunate to find Jim Aktiv to help me with my kitchen refurbishing project. I was becoming discouraged in regard to finding anyone to help with my counters, which were more than 20 years old and had suffered some water damage from a malfunctioning faucet. Several well-advertised kitchen contractors had been willing to provide counters I did not want or had advised me that it would be impossible to do while keeping the old cabinets I liked. Jim, however, was most accommodating and evaluated my situation quite quickly and in detail, providing me with many available options. He got on the job right away and did fabulous work, preserving my cabinets and tile backsplash and installing a counter that was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The one thing every photo on this page has in common, is they all feature Wilsonart HD AEON series laminate. This is an awesome laminate, highly durable, and extremely pleasing to the eye. This laminate basicly mimics the look of a marble/granite or other stone surface counter tops. This laminate has exceeded the expectations of every client who has ordered it. There is a 45 degree edge option that works perfectly. When walking into kitchen for first time everyone will think you have a solid surface top using this combination. Contractors with multiple units are encouraged to contact ACF. I can help with special applications such as computer workstations for any sector. Maybe you would like to trap your monitors into the countertop... no problem. I will work with you to find the right solution. Residential customers are always welcomed. Don't fall into the Home Depot / Loews counter top scams. Buying one of these counters is fine, as long as it is a one piece counter. Home depot, and all the others do not custom fabricate their multi piece counters. They are pre cut, and have never been attached to any other pieces. Here at ACF multi piece counters are splined, and joined with joint fasteners which pull the splined pieces together for a truly tight fit. Then the top is sanded, and then the laminate can be applied, producing a perfect seam every time.Also, if you have an "L" shaped counter that is 144" x 60" or less, I can fabricate with out any seams ACF also offers the new 45 degree beveled edge. this looks awesome, especially in Wilsonarts hd series.
